All candidates must:

• Have a 3.0 Cumulative GPA or greater.
• Complete a minimum of 30 credit hours at a community college.
• Be currently enrolled in an Illinois community college seeking to earn their first baccalaureate degree.
• Submit an application for admission to one of the PICU member colleges or universities listed.

The following data are required from each candidate:

• A completed application form with signed Scholarship Agreement and Information Release.
• A personal statement of 500 – 700 words telling the committee about your background, your educational goals and how this scholarship will help you achieve these goals.
• A PDF or word document that lists extracurricular, work, and/or volunteer experiences you would like the committee to know about or a resume.
• An unofficial community college transcript in PDF format.

The Spring 2026 Scholarship is now closed. The Fall 2026 Scholarship will open on Feburary 19th and all materials need to be submitted by June 4th.

Your application, essay, activities, and transcripts must all be submitted by the above date to be considered. There will be no exceptions.
