To be eligible, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Have a 3.0 Cumulative GPA or greater.
  
  
• Complete a minimum of 30 credit hours at a community college.
  
  
• Be currently enrolled in an Illinois community college seeking to earn their first baccalaureate degree.
  
  
• Submit an application for admission to one of the PICU member colleges or universities listed.

The following items are required from each candidate to complete their application:

• A completed application form with signed Scholarship Agreement and Information Release.
  
  
• A personal statement of 500 – 700 words answering the following prompt:
  
  “Tell us about your experience at your current community college and why the PICU institution you are transferring to is the perfect next step for your educational and professional journey.”
  
  
• A PDF or word document that lists extracurricular, work, and/or volunteer experiences you would like the committee to know about or a resume.
  
  
• An unofficial community college transcript in PDF format.
